About the Whites

Transparent White (Mixing White) is used to reduce color strength while maintaining hue accuracy and is essential for controlled Pantone® mixing.

Opaque White increases coverage and brightness but is not intended to completely block dark stocks. When used alone or added to other colors, it improves laydown and smoothness while allowing the underlying paper to influence the final appearance.
